Complementary Therapy Week is right around the corner. Taking place from 20 to 26 March, it’s the perfect time to celebrate your practice and bring awareness to your clients. Knowing the best way to take advantage of the occasion can be tricky, so we’ve come up with four quick and easy things you can do to prepare for Complementary Therapy Week 2024.

Download Our New Social Media Assets

Even for the social media savvy, finding the time to create engaging content amid working a full calendar can be a challenge. That’s why the FHT has come up with some members-only downloadable social media content.

We’ve made a set of fun social media posts designed to educate and engage with your clients over Complementary Therapy Week. Even better, the posts come in multiple styles, so you can choose the aesthetic that best reflects you and your practice.

All you have to do is download your favourite styles, personalise them with your own caption, and post.

We’ve also created a downloadable Facebook banner that you can put up on your page to encourage your clients to book a session during Complementary Therapy Week.

Promote Special Offers

Complementary Therapy Week provides a great opportunity to attract new clients and engage with existing ones. Offering a free short sample session could be a nice way to entice new people to try out your services with little extra cost to yourself, while offering sets, such as booking three sessions in advance at a discounted rate, can show appreciation to loyal clients.

Email Your Customer Base to Spread the Word

We know it’s Complementary Therapy Week, but do your clients? As a complementary therapist, by spreading awareness and celebrating Complementary Therapy Week, you’re really celebrating yourself. We should all be our own best cheerleaders and Complementary Therapy Week offers the perfect excuse.

Think about how you can engage your clients’ natural curiosity. What are some of the benefits of your service that they might not know about? Is there an interesting history behind how your therapy developed?

Collaborate With Other Practitioners in Your Area

Reach out to other complementary therapists, wellness centres and yoga studios to collaborate or cross-promote each other. This could be as simple as sharing each other’s posts on social media or giving a shout out to your favourite local complementary therapist.

Alternatively, you could discuss how you might cross-promote each other to your respective client bases. Swap some business cards and recommend other therapies you think your client might like to pair with your own.

As an organisation dedicated to supporting our member’s, the FHT would love to know what you’re doing for Complementary Therapy Week. Don’t forget to tag us in your social media posts and stories so we can see how you’re celebrating Complementary Therapy Week.
